September 15-October 15 is #HispanicHeritageMonth. My family is of Mexican heritage so I thought it would be fun to make a Keto Mocktail with Ultima Replenisher. Looking for a zero calorie, zero carb and zero sugar drink recipe that has a sweet and spicy kick? I call this mocktail/cocktail drink, "Sweet Heat".
I used the Coconut Piña Colada flavor from the new Ultima Mocktini pouch to give this cocktail a nice fruity and refreshing flavor. I then combined lime juice, strawberries, mineral water, crushed ice, and topped it off with some candied jalapeños. If you have never tried candied jalapeños, you need to give them a try. I promise they are such a fun way to eat this pepper.

Sweet Heat Coconut Piña Colada Mocktail Recipe
(2) Ultima Replenisher Coconut Pina Colada Sticks
(1) Juice of a whole lime
(6) Large strawberries
12oz Mineral Water
12oz crushed ice
*Optional 3oz of your favorite tequila.
For Candied Jalapenos:
½ tablespoon Monkfruit sweetener
1 large jalapeno
Makes 2 drinks.
Directions:Blend all ingredients together in a blender until smooth. Pour into your chosen glass. Garnish with a couple of candied jalapenos.
Candied Jalapenos Recipe:
Slice 1 large jalapeno into thick slices. Place into a pan and cook over low heat for four minutes per side, keep heating until the jalapeno begins to soften in texture. Once soft, immediately remove them from the pan and place into a mixing bowl. Sprinkle with ½ tablespoon Monkfruit sweetener to create a zero sugar candied flavor.
