do swimmers sweat?

Swimmers, Sweat & Electrolytes!

If you're a swimmer, you've probably been asked if you sweat during swim practice. We know you are working hard but since you are in water, do you sweat?

The answer of course is yes. The problem is that swimmers don't notice that they are sweating because they are wet. But as we know, the body perspires and loses hydration and electrolytes whether you are in water or not. It is essential that all athletes pay attention to their own unique hydration needs to maximize performance.

Consuming an electrolyte drink like Ultima Replenisher both prior to and after a hard swim workout will ensure your body has the essential minerals it needs to function properly.
