Josh (@ice_and_alchemy) and Jess (@bodyblissbyjess) Suchan have a rockin DIY At-Home-Bar where they love teaching people how to make "sexy swap cocktails" (online) that are healthy versions of traditional cocktails.
The two set out to make these incredibly delish cocktails— Ultima Tropical French 75 and Ultima Orange Sour. Both cocktails are low sugar and use fresh seasonal ingredients. The drinks get their vibrant colors and amazing taste from Ultima electrolyte drink powder mixes 💧 made with plant-based flavors & colors, zero sugar/carbs/calories, plus 8 hydrating minerals to help you stay on top of your hydration goals while indulging.
Josh and Jess used the Ultima Replenisher Orange and Raspberry flavors for these yummy cocktails.
Ultima Orange Sour 🍊
1 scoop Ultima Replenisher Orange flavor 🍊
1.5 oz liquor of choice (we like tequila) OR 1.5oz steeped chamomile tea for mocktail (see note below)
.75 oz fresh lime juice
1 egg white (optional for foam)
Garnish with an edible flower 🌺
Note: to make a mocktail, swap liquor for chamomile tea. Steep 4 tea bags in 6oz water for 30 mins at room temperature.
In a shaker combine all ingredients (egg white optional). If using egg white, first shake all ingredients without ice for :30. Next, fill cocktail shaker with ice & shake hard for :8-:10. Strain into a glass and garnish with an edible flower! 🌺
Ultima Tropical French 75
1 scoop Ultima Replenisher Raspberry flavor
1.5oz liquor of choice (we like gin) OR 1.5oz steeped earl gray tea for mocktail (see note below)
1oz coconut water 🥥
1/2 lime quartered
8-10 mint leaves
1oz soda water or bubbles of choice
Garnish: mint leaves
Note: to make a mocktail, swap liquor for earl grey tea. Steep 4 tea bags in 6oz water for 30 mins at room temperature.
In a glass, combine Ultima raspberry and lime quarters. Muddle to extract the juices & oils from the limes. Next, add your mint leaves and press delicately to extract the mint oils. Add your spirit & coconut water and fill your glass with ice (crushed preferred). Use a spoon to stir ingredients together to mix. Add more ice & top with soda water or bubbles and garnish with a mint bouquet.
