Watermelon Strawberry Agua Fresca Recipe with Mayra Arias

Watermelon Strawberry Agua Fresca Recipe

Summer might be officially coming to an end but as temperatures stay nice and warm, we might as well continue to enjoy refreshing summer drinks all year long. One of the best drinks to quench your thirst and satisfy those taste buds of yours is by sipping on the refreshing Mexican beverage known as agua fresca.

Agua fresca is a refreshing, light, fruit drink traditionally consumed throughout Mexico, but has become increasingly popular throughout the US. Our friend Mayra Arias (@low.carb.love) took this popular recipe and made it her own by swapping out the sugar with Ultima Replenisher Watermelon electrolyte powder mix which makes it a delicious, low-carb drink recipe with no added sugar.

So not only are you getting the delicious taste of an agua fresca, but you also can enjoy all the rich antioxidant benefits from vitamin C (thanks to the fresh, juicy strawberries) PLUS, you get the added electrolytes and trace minerals from our sugar-free electrolyte powder mix.

No strawberries? No Problem! Feel free to try this recipe with other fruit like cantaloupe, melon, peaches - whatever you have at home.
