"I bought this first on Amazon for my husband to replace a combination electrolyte and amino acid product that is no longer available. I was searching specifically for a product that did not contain sucralose, acesulfame, dextrose or cane sugar. As it turned in the category of electrolytes and amino acids a product without these ingredients is surprisingly hard to find. Many products in these categories have more than 2 of these ingredients together along with artificial colors and often I saw that if they utilize stevia as a sweetener, sucralose and/or cane sugar was also included. This product uses just stevia. I have noticed in the past with other stevia products that they can have an aftertaste or just a fake (even though it is a natural ingredient) sugar taste. That is not the case with Ultima Replenisher. My husband likes the taste of the Passion Fruit flavor and I appreciate the single sweetener and that it is a natural sweetener. I tasted it as well and did not find that it tasted fake or had an aftertaste. It is on the tart side as Passion Fruit should taste. I purchased a second container for him here and also bought the Watermelon flavor for myself which I agree with other reviewers is a light watermelony flavor."
