Hydrating Citrus + Green Smoothie
Below is a recipe that Haley, of Moth + Flame, developed for Ultima Replenisher. As a daily drinker of Ultima, she loves mixing up her routine by adding it to smoothies and smoothie bowls. This Hydrating Citrus and Green Smoothie is the first in a series of recipes designed to be made with Ultima Replenisher!
WHY ULTIMA REPLENISHER?
Ultima Replenisher is an amazing creation. For people like myself, anything to help stay hydrated without the addition of chemicals and artificial nonsense gets a gold star. Ultima has all six electrolytes that your body needs, plus some extra minerals to help you feel your best. It has no sugar (yay stevia!), is gluten free, vegan, and non-GMO, plus it has no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, and a very low amount carbs! Ringing in at only 15 calories, you can drink Ultima all day and not worry about the calories. Most sports drinks are loaded with sugar, too much sodium, and too many ingredients that I can not pronounce.IT'S SMOOTHIE TIME!
As much as I love drinking Ultima on its own, I've discovered that my favorite way to get my electrolytes is by adding it to smoothies. It's so quick and easy, and you can get a serving of fruits and veggies at the same time! The first smoothie I decided on is a green smoothie, loaded with pineapple, mixed greens, Lemonade Ultima, and an added bonus- Pure Moringa Vegetable Powder. In making the smoothie, I added a touch of ice to extend the size of the drink, pineapple with about half a cup of pineapple juice, a handful of mixed spinach, swiss chard, and kale, and the two powders! Ingredients:- A few Ice Cubes
- 2 Cups of Fresh Pineapple
- 1/2 Cup of Pineapple Juice
- 2 Cups of Mixed Spinach
- 2 Cups of Swiss Chard
- 2 Cups of Handful of Kale
- 2 Stick Pack of Lemonade Ultima
- 1 Tablespoons of Pure Moringa Vegetable Powder
