Hydrating "Soda" By Holistic Nutritionist @eatingbirdfood

Holistic nutritionist Brittany Mullins creates delicious recipes for every occasion using only healthy and beneficial ingredients. So when she came up with a "soda" recipe we just HAD to try it! Soda is a popular beverage that usually contains high-fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, colors and other unpronounceable ingredients. While soda is a well-loved treat, it has unnecessarily high sugars and other bad stuff in it that can be harmful.

Brittany @eatingbirdfood solved this with her recipe for a delicious and beneficial, hydrating "soda" in three different flavors to enjoy, Grape, Orange and Lemon-Lime (yum!). How is it hydrating? Mixing Ultima Replenisher into carbonated water adds electrolytes and vitamins to help support your body with the hydration and minerals it needs. Best part is, you get a delicious, healthy soda with none of the junk and all of the good stuff.

See below for the healthy, no sugar three ingredient "soda"!

Homemade "Soda" with Electrolytes

Grape 🍇

Orange 🍊

Lemon Lime 🍋

Directions:

Dissolve your Ultima electrolyte powder by mixing 1 tbs of warm water with the powder in a small mason jar. Shake until dissolved. You can also use a spoon to stir it in, but the shaking method works better!

Fizz + flavor – After the powder is dissolved, add 12 ounces of cold sparkling water. If you're making the lemon lime soda, I recommend adding fresh lime juice or using lime sparkling water.

Enjoy right way – These drinks are best right away as the carbonation will start to dissipate as the drink sits out. It will still taste good, but won't be as fizzy. Feel free to serve with ice, if desired.
