This mocktail recipe by cookbook author and culinary master, Chef Emery Champman (@chef emery), is perfect because it has the look and feel of a cocktail but is filled with fresh fruit and electrolytes with no negative side effects that alcohol can have.
Enjoy this festive mocktail any time of year.
1 tbsp warm water 💧
1 scoop Ultima Replenisher Pink Lemonade 🍋
2 strawberries, tops removed and diced, plus extra strawberries sliced 🍓
2 sprigs fresh mint, plus extra for garnish
2 sprigs fresh basil, plus extra for garnish
1 12-ounce sparkling water
Juice of 1/2 half a lemon
Take a large glass and add warm water, then add 1 scoop of Ultima Replenisher Pink Lemonade electrolyte powder. Mix well until the electrolyte powder is fully dissolved. Now add diced strawberries, fresh mint, fresh basil and using a fork muddle the strawberries, fresh mint and basil together (essentially mash them gently).
Now add lemon juice and then pour sparkling water over the fresh herbs and fruit. Mix well. Take your favorite fancy glass and fill it to the top with ice, then pour your mocktail over the ice. Top with a few additional sprigs of fresh mint, basil, sliced strawberries and service immediately. Enjoy!
